The Benefits of Reflexology

Applying gentle pressure to the reflexes in the feet and hands can have a surprisingly relaxing effect on the body.

You may find this state of deep relaxation helpful with reducing stress levels.  Stress is a common problem in today's society and too much of it can lead to a number of both mental and physical health conditions.

When a treatment is being carried out over 7000 nerve endings are being stimulated within the feet, sending impulses throughout your body.  This may lead to improved blood circulation, and encourage all your organs and glands to function better, working together in balance.

In addition to this reflexology may help with the following:

  • Improve Mood

  • Aid Sleep

  • Relieve Tension

  • Improve a Sense of Well-being

Each individual client will react differently, but for everyone, reflexology gives you a chance to take some time out to forget anything that may be going on around you and put yourself first.

Reflexology is never used to diagnose conditions and is not a substitue for medical  advice.  It does not cure, but aims to facilitate healing.
